Programming and Final Artwork


What's finished:

  • A majority of the main game code is now complete
    • This involves a lot of the primary driving code to check for and make up items
  • Most of the main artwork is now done
    • Some 'dressing' artwork has been made and is being implemented

What's in progress:

  • I'm now writing code directly for the puzzles
    • This means selection of puzzle items and their interaction with other items etc.
  • Sound is yet to be implemented i.e. BGM and SFX
    • Luckily the BGM is being made by a friend which means direct import
  • Wrapping up some loose ends with how the layout will be in each room etc. is underway

What I'd like to finish before the cut off

  • Polish including how puzzle items are found etc.
  • Implementation of a few random items that create sound to increase the soundscape
  • A proper introduction and ending cutscene to be developed
    • The introduction and short storyline are already fully planned (albeit simple)
    • The ending cutscene will take additional artwork and planning

That's all for now. Hoping to get it all finished in time. It will be a challenge.
